The "PowerDock" Portable Generator can be used anywhere where you need Quiet and Dependable Portable Power:
At Home or the Office During Grid Power Failures:
Keep your PowerDock, charged and ready for emergencies by recharging with the powerful 17 Volt solar panels, or the 110 Volt AC wall charger. The PowerDock can power your Laptop, Cell-Phone, CB Backup Radio and Lights during power-failures.
Camping:
Much better and safer than liquid fuel camping lanterns, the PowerDock is a powerful power-source for your camping lanterns and lights. Use lanterns that are already equipped with a cigarette lighter plu, or just get any type of automotive, RV or boat light and add a cigarette lighter plug to the wire leads. Buy 10-20 small "Trailer" indicator side lights, wire them together on a 50'-100' length of Wire and you can outline your entire CampGround with Lights. Use your small TV or Radio to keep in touch with the "outside world" and on longer expeditions, use the PowerDock so that you always have power for your Cell-Phone communications in case of an emergency.
Remote Cabins and Homes:
Charge your PowerDock the night before your cabin visit and you'll have plenty of power when you arrive for Lights, Radios, TV and your Cell-Phone. Just leave the PowerDock outside in the sunlight during the day and you will have lots of electrical power for use at night.
Recreational Vehicles:
Bringing the kids along on a RV trip? Once you get to your destination, place the PowerDock outside on a picnic table with a small TV and a Video Game set,and the kids can "relax" with their interests, as you relax with yours...
Trailers:
Small trailers, espcially "fold-outs" usually don't have steady access to 12 Volt power. The PowerDock is the perfect portable power source for bringing the comforts of home, to your small trailer.
Outdoor Parties:
Plug-in lights, music, mosquitto repellers, fans, small guitar amps and key boards to the PowerDock and you'll have lots of power for your outdoor parties. Plug a 12 Volt fan into the powerDock to keep you cool, or to keep hungry insects away from your food.
Boats:
Bring the PowerDock to your boat and you'll have cockpit, spotlight lighting and VHF/CB/Handheld radio backup power. Taking your dinghy out for a run, plug your Nav-Lights into the powerDock and you'll have lots of power for operating at night in busy channels. For fishing, plug a bait-tank aerator or pump into the PowerDock, or use a light for night-fishing. Directly power a bilge pump, depthsounder/fishfinder and nav-lights in your small fishing boat. Take the 12 Volt power with you so that you don't have to use a large, automotive battery in your small fishing boat. Going sailing in a small boat? Use the PowerDock to provide 12 Volt Power for nav-lighting, cell-phone, VHF, bilge pump on your late evening sailing trips without having to keep a large 12 Volt battery on-board and a 110 Volt AC charger to keep it charged.
Schools:
Science experiments and electrical power for field trips are perfect for educational applications.
Garden Sheds:
Plug your lights, radio, small tools such as hedge trimmers and clippers (by using a 110 Volt AC inverter) into the PowerDock while you are working in the garden.
Beaches:
Bring the PowerDock to the beach and you can use fans (with a water spray mist) for cooling, radios, TV's and electronic games for the kids...
Construction Sites:
Use the PowerDock to power small power tools (with an inverter) or to power lights for dark areas, or a radio.
Outdoor Events:
Keep cool by pluging a fan into the PowerDock or a Radio, Small Guitar Amp, Keyboard, PA System or Area Lights...
Outdoor Kiosks and Vending Carts:
Add lighting, PA systems, fans or moving POP displays to your outdoor vending cart.
Flea Markets And Antique Shows:
Add lighting, PA systems, fans or moving POP displays to your outdoor vending cart.
Remote Scientific Monitoring Stations:
Bring the PowerDock along on your expedition and you can use your laptop computer, Cell-Phone, GPS, handheld radio or digital camera hardrive data storage...
Most any "12 Volt" product can be used with the "PowerDock" portable solar power station. By using your accessory 12 Volt cigarette lighter cable adapter you can just plug your 12 volt devices into the "PowerDock" power output jacks for use, day or night.
By adding a 110 Volt AC inverter, you can use most any small "Wall" type device or appliance...
Most RV/Boat 12 Volt fans have just two bare wire leads and not a cigarette lighter jack. Just go to most any hardware, automotive or boat store and buy a 12 Volt cigarette lighter plug and wire it onto the fan bare wire leads. Very easy to do and then you can use the fan, plus many other 12 Volt appliances with your PowerDock that do not normally come with a 12 Volt cigarette lighter plug.
NOTE: Be sure to wire the plug to your appliance for the correct +/- polarity. In the case of most fans, they will just run "backwards" if the polarity is not correct. However, for electronics, the device could be ruined if the polarity is not matched properly. The center contact of the PowerDock 12 Volt cigarette lighter jack is the Positive and the outer, surrounding metal shell is the Negative. When wiring your 12 Volt cigarette lighter plug to your device bare +/- wire Leads, the center pin/nose of the plug should be the positive (+).
